Eric Zartman

Partner

Eric Zartman is a zoning and land use attorney with Underhill & Hodge LLP. He works with property owners, developers, businesses, and community organizations to navigate the local approval processes that shape real estate development. His practice focuses on rezonings, variances, annexations, site plan approvals, and other municipal approvals needed to move projects from concept to reality.

Eric regularly represents clients before planning commissions, boards of zoning appeals, city councils, and neighborhood review bodies throughout central Ohio. He understands that successful land use work requires more than legal knowledge. It requires practical problem solving, careful strategy, and the ability to work productively with local officials and community stakeholders. Eric partners closely with clients and their project teams to develop clear, realistic paths to approval.

From early-stage due diligence to final approvals, Eric helps clients evaluate options, address zoning and annexation challenges, and find workable solutions. He has experience with a wide variety of projects, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments. His goal is to help clients navigate complex regulations efficiently and achieve results that make their projects possible.
